The biggest dog in the world.

His name is Zeus, he is the biggest dog with a heart as kind and huge as himself. His height is 111.8 cm at the withers. This Great Dane was included in the Guinness Book of Records in 2013, two centimeters ahead of the previous record holder - Giant George. George, the same breed as Zeus.

Zeus lives in Bedford, Texas, and is raised by Brittany Davis. When Brittany was still a girl, she dreamed of a big dog, and certainly a Great Dane. And her dream came true: now she has the biggest dog in the world.

Zeus had been this big since he was a child, and he was a gift from his brother. When a young man was choosing a puppy for his sister, he chose the largest baby in the litter. The owner recalls that he immediately seemed big to her, even for a puppy; his paws were simply gigantic. Well, then it’s like in a fairy tale: the baby grew by leaps and bounds and became even bigger, but is not at all embarrassed by his gigantic growth.

In fact, this dog only looks intimidating; in reality, he is a very kind and affectionate animal and does not at all have the disposition of the ancient Greek thunderer, after whom he is named. Zeus loves to sleep by the window, quickly raising his head from any noise he hears on the street. He loves children and walks, where he causes a real stir. Passers-by ask permission to pet the dog, are interested in his character, and sometimes are openly surprised by the size of the dog, asking if he can ride and where his saddle is.

As for food, feeding a Great Dane is not so easy: Zeus eats about 12 bowls of food a day, and he drinks straight from the shell.
