Uruguay's presidential election has concluded, with left-leaning history teacher Yamandu Orsi and centre-right veterinarian Alvaro Delgado set for a run-off vote on November 24. The two candidates will compete for the top spot after neither received more than 50% of the vote. This marks a departure from the sharp right-left divides seen in other Latin American countries.
