That's true, it's the kind 1064 event that is the problem, not 1065 which stores just metadata.

Point 3 and 5 is really important and if NIP-95 gets merged, I really hope that all relay implementations blacklists kind 1964 events by default so that nobody can DOS your VPSs diskspace.

If we can't use torrents, we should find some other way to do it off-protocol IMO.

Blocking NIP-94 events is a weird emotional/political fight. It’s a good spec and has a purpose.

Relay operators should keep in mind blocking one event kind doesn’t protect them from the risks of NIP-95.
