That’s true!

This is one of the foundational equations for empirical distributional linguistics. Some ideas in modern deep learning stem from this equation and the chain rule.

Bayes is at the foundation of how we learn:

“What are the updated probabilities given this new information” is probably how we’ve survived countless times in the Jungle 😂
