Dear Chris, Luis & Team Talent @ CashApp,
Much respect to you each. My name is Angela Johnson and I became interested in the Block ecosystem 5 months ago when I joined the NOSTR protocol. On NOSTR, thereβs thousands of individual profiles. I felt an instant kinship with people that were discussing innovation as well as those who work varying hours due to the global market. I came to learn that the people I feel most aligned with, are oftentimes, team members of Block; particularly Team CashApp.
There are attributes of my lived experience that have allowed me to grow into a trusted advisor, a mentor, a leader and strategist - all of which are throughlines in my 13 year professional history. Personally, Iβm the daughter of first-generation interracially wed parents, the sister of a performing artist who is proudly queer, the granddaughter of a wartime veteran, and an accomplished small business owner who transitioned out of day-to-day operations this spring.
I live with an acute understanding that time is not guaranteed and that translates to me approaching each day with presence, grace, honesty, and dedication to purpose driven work. At this point in my life, I seek to work within a visionary ecosystem for the duration of my career. Contending for the position of People Strategy & Planning Lead is a meaningful next step to me in achieving both personal and professional goals and it would be a sincere honor to speak with you further in an interview setting.
