Are there any phone wallets that support signet?

I did find nunchuk, it seems to work on android, fine. Anyone has iphone that can confirm you can use signet there? It's under Profile, then Network Settings.

Sorry if this isn’t helpful. Haven’t used, thought you might be asking if the menu offered it

Yep, perfect. That's iphone right?

Yep

Signet seems to work fine on nostr:npub1cvqlzvmjercdn0ypsmv8f7j9lge6ahsnueh5rparh53wuswftv4q49yjt3 . There is an issue, however, where the default server signet.nunchuk.io:50002 is not intended for public use, so signet is only publicly useful if you manually change the network setting to a public server, like: ssl://mempool.space:60602

I found this issue report on github that indicates this default server will be changed to a public one in the next release... that was like 4 releases ago. 🤷

Sorry if this is all old news... I just now ran into this issue myself and came across your thread... I thought it might be worth adding what I found so far.

Yes, we do in Envoy.

Nice, thanks! Will check it out.

ZEUS, but only w remote connections

Thanks. This is for a session where students are playing the role of noobs, so i want them to be able to do it phone-only without prior setup. Obviously a pretty weird niche use-case 😁

Oh, cool idea!

We do! Remember to change the signet server to a public one if you want to use public signet.

Here’s a good one:

ssl://mempool.space:60602

Hi, thanks. So the default one is not public? (signet.nunchuk.io:50002) meaning it's a separate signet and not "the" signet?

Correct, unlike mainnet and testnet, anyone can run their own signet instances. Technically there’s no “the” signet.

Is there a plan to change the default server to be publicly useful? I like to introduce noobs to bitcoin with a test wallet. I've been using testnet with no problems, but I think signet coins would be ideal. It's not a big issue to instruct a noob to change the network, but it would be nice if I didn't have to also walk the noob through changing the server url for that network.
