the amount of social engineering and irl scamming that’s still going on…

friend of mine lost about $100 bucks today for being too blue-eyed and trusting the other person.

on the positive side, the lesson could’ve been way more expensive, as it was their first time experiencing any sort of scheming and lies like that

$100 well spent. It would be much worse down the road

yeah… apparently the person knocked on the door shivering and in panic, saying how his car was in the middle of the street…

there’s really no way that people would lie..

would lie this much..*

yeah unfortunately scumbags like that exist.

it is what it is.. unfortunate really

Always will.

Great point, these new networks manipulate for crazy candles and rug noobs, looking at you #scroll

Defenses against scams come from wisdom gained in experience.

Companies send "phishing emails" to help their employees recognize what scams look like for this reason. The negative feelings of being made out for a fool make for a learning lesson that isn't easily forgotten.

So true, and long time no see tanel, for some reason you never come up in my feed.
