What is Ark?

Has the code been proven and or audited yet? I keep wondering about this one but haven’t heard much lately also haven’t dove into it myself yet.

I tried to install it but on init it doesn't find ASP and doesn't continue.

If it does work, then I would love it to be Free Software. If it's proven to be Libre, and also proven to work as they would like it, I could consider that. Let's also hope you can use non-custodial wallets that protect your privacy this way.
