Sim Swap adventure still ongoing. Out of sheer luck I figured out what carrier the hacker tried to transfer my phone number to.

But now my phone number is stuck on the new carrier, but I don’t have any info about the account so I’ve been on the phone for 2 hours trying to get carrier 2 to give me the info.

It appears my number is in limbo

Yeah it’s pretty wild.

One thing I learned is that AT&T doesn’t really protect pre-paid accounts as hard, so post-paid cell service is better.
