Simple math is lacking for many. How sad is that? It’s too easy to see everything.

I worked with someone recently who needed a calculator to figure out what 10% of $100 was. And another (who is in nursing school) who had no idea how to make change from a $100 for a bill of 50 and change. Sad doesn't even begin to describe. Common Core is a travesty
