Is my phone just dumb, or is webp not yet supported on Amethyst?

on plebstr sometimes image doesnt load either if I do go a bit fast, these types of issues on different clients may be fixed slowly and steadily
we are way too far away from "better"
works for me. i posted that via amethyst.
I haven't tried posting them, but I can't see them.
Just updated Amethyst again, and still no joy.
I'm going with stupid phone for now.
