Filterers and CTV advocates are on the same side: Bitcoin as a sovereign money. That’s not the case with spammers and I find it disheartening to see that most CTV advocates end up being spam apologists.

Some people just like nuanced opinions instead of feeling the need to get riled up about whatever the internet is using to divide them
There are good arguments for and against playing the cat and mouse game against spammers with filters. But using the email analogy isnt quite right
I think if we actually worked to make bitcoin more usable for payments (ie CTV), the issue would mostly take care of itself
But everybody should also be able to easily filter transactions they dont want from their node
