IMHO: Trump is targeting a goal that allows him to negotiate around this price point. The USG can “default” on its debts (a Debt Jubilee) by simply paying off the interest. They can outrun the collapse of global assets and purchase cheaply from those beholden to a USD denominated debt or a Bitcoin Reserve System. A BRS can be held by any individual on earth without needing permission to transact on the system.
