You can still set-up a legacy address/wallet with Electrum, although I believe you have to make an effort.
Komodo Wallet uses legacy addresses by default and also has cool features, like a "Camouflage PIN" that, when entered, shows only a fraction of your balance, so if under duress, you could access and send a small fraction of your actual holdings.... Anyway, worth looking into, as it's also a DEX.
