Which client is that? I believe you should be able to adjust that
That it’s 500 sats, or 0.000005 BTC most people do 5-50 sats though, and you should be able to change the amount to whatever you want

On amethyst and I see some tabs for changing some things but not wallet bitcoin amounts

I use Damus so I can’t help much more unfortunately. If you have general questions use the asknostr tag, the amethyst one for client specific questions
If you hold down on the zap icon you'll get a menu where you can adjust the amount of sats you want as options when you go to zap a post, you can also double click it to set a custom amount for a single zap - you can also hold down on the like icon and you'll have a menu to preset a range of emojis you can add as reactions to posts
