The point being, the CVCVCV is so obvious that, if you have any familiarity with both, you can see everything I’m pointing out in early Naruto is a near 1:1 clone with something from early HxH.

The only thing in OG Naruto prior to Sasuke leaving that doesn’t have a direct analog in HxH is the destruction of the village. That part is unique, and actually pretty good.

Some of the stuff in later Naruto is good too, and to my knowledge, not directly ripping off anything. It did grow out of this, more out of necessity than anything though, because HxH serialization basically stopped and he ran out of things to CV. You can tell that’s the reason because HxH only went up to Greed Island at the time and the last thing he stole was Tsunade, who is a clone of Biscuit from HxH.
