Quake 1 already got a proprietary switch source port and it played like a dream. You do imprecise, broad aiming with the right stick with a higher sensitivity and only do precise corrections with the gyroscope motion sensor. If you put it's sensitivity a little more up there too you barely have to move your arm joint at all. It feels great and more intuitive and immersive after you got the hang of it, because you actually aim in a "3D" fashion as opposed to KB+M, where your mousepad is more like a "2D" plane
