3 events that have changed things even more for me:

1. The halving led me to deeper understanding of the bitcoin standard and fiat policy.

2. Republicans and Democrats renewed and massively expanded surveillance, in direct violation of the constitution and their oaths.

3. Republicans and Democrats waved the Ukraine flag back and forth in the House after violating the constitution and their oath.

So now I say this again with new levels of commitment:

Empire requires 3 things to stay in power:

Control of information.

Control of currency.

Monopoly on violence.

You don’t have to shoot at them.
