Is anyone important in the jail and appeared today to the public via video conference?

I thought I saw today, on the electric news that goes around the building, something like "Trump appeared via video message from the jail for the first time."

I was like "Oh, I didn't know he was in the jail"

Apparently he is not. Just check to see if I hallucinated or misread or something else,
