I think the Ghiblification of Everything is sam altman's way of bowing to the aesthetic supremacy of Ghibli.

when Ghibli does a hero or protagonist character, they are sweet and naive but also precocious. most importantly, they act pretty normal and don't sing.

when disney does a hero or protagonist character, especially in modern times, they give low key neurotic, unhinged energy. they sing in that same annoying disney voice and it makes ears 'bleed'.

cannot stand.
