How do you teach a child (7yo) to swim?

The same way you teach an adult.
How is that?
You could attend classes, or you could just watch a YouTube video, and then practice.
thats going to be hard. When i was that age i learned like doggy swimming, that was enough for me to survive in the deep pools.
I'm no expert, but I think just hold them as little as possible and keep their head above water while they try to kick and paddle.
