something that would be a really cool feature in a #nostr client

automatically pushing all events fetched from other relays to one or more chosen relays

#devstr

Isent that how https://nostrsync.live/ works? As far as I know they find your stuff then push it to relays.

yes, but i mean IN A CLIENT could just as easily be a local one like the one that nostrudel has configured to work with, that's why i thought of it, it's such a simple thing, would be like your own personal offline archive

Ah ok fair.

in fact after tinkering with some CSS3 last night i've come to the conclusion i could probably hax these front end things if i had a few weeks put aside just for learning the ropes...

never had much luck with web dev in the past, constantly having problems with dependencies and versions of the runtimes but these clients are fairly complete, and i'm betting i could be rolling new things into them pretty good, and i mean proper things not just dumb features but actual smart algorithms, cos web devs really don't understand efficiency, i watch my relay being flooded with these ridiculous requests all the time and 20 sockets open at once and still the interface doesn't update instantly when events are fed in

actually, yeah, scratch that i want to rebuild my DSL for Go Gio UI library so it works with the current version that supports all the hardware... fyne is a joke, honestly, i can't believe how bad fails to compute timely sizing of the layout compared to the pure GIO i used to work with, and creating a competent, low overhead concurrent state system to go with the immediate mode render queues would be epic

but either way

i can see myself going full #nostr #devstr in the next 6 months... just gotta finish the current thing and probably do one more 2 month stint with 3 actual days off the job this time... getting burnout from this current task from too much being stuck in one thing
