On pondering this video all day, I think we all walk this earth with a bit of the devil inside us.

I think this evil part of us is the mortal part, the part that ceases to exist when our bodies decay. Our ego is mortal, a fragile concept tied up in your physical vessel.

It seems that all our fears originate from this mortal part of us.

That's not to say we need to fight this evil part of us. Know that it's fears are misguided & require compassion rather than force.
