Following continued downplaying of the incident by officials with the Trump Administration, who continue to claim that what was talked about in the recent Signal group-chat regarding strikes against the Houthis in Yemen was not considered “war planning” and was not classified; Jeffrey Goldberg, Editor-in-Chief for The Atlantic, has now released what appears to be the full chat-log for the group in Signal, as well as the identity of every person included in the chat. The log proves that National Security Advisor Mike Waltz was the one to add Goldberg to the group, as well as claims by Goldberg that information about strike timing, weapons systems, and targets were posted in the chat by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth hours before the start of the strike operation in Yemen.

Mike Waltz, Trump’s National Security Advisor and the creator of the Signal group where the details of the American attack against the Yemeni Houthi terrorists were coordinated, reiterated today on his X account that no "war plans" were made in the group and that no indications of locations, sources, or attack methods were given. He concluded by emphasizing that President Trump is protecting America.

However, according to the full messages released today by Jeffrey Goldberg—the journalist allegedly included in the group by Mike Waltz himself—Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth provided details about the sources and methods of the attack, even specifying the exact time when the fighter jets would take off and when the bombs would begin to fall on the targets.

Criticism against Waltz and Hegseth is growing increasingly intense, starting with the obvious question: why did they use a Signal group instead of the high-security communication channels provided by the Pentagon?

The other obvious question is: why did Waltz invite a journalist like Goldberg to the group? Was it a mistake? And if it was a mistake, why did no one in the group question who the "JG" appearing on the members list was?

How was this chat leaked?
