It’s really a parents’ worst nightmare. I doubt there was anything more they could have done for him. He was on the verge of getting kicked out of the house and losing his inheritance and that’s apparently what set him off.
Sad indeed. But i assume that there has to be some mental illness involved. Makes it more sad, but in a less angry way to me.
It’s very sad, I don’t know what else the family could have done that night, but they clearly knew he was dangerous. He will probably get an insanity plea. They usually do.
