One thing I have been spending some cycles thinking about is consequence.

Like it is amazing to me that there are people out there that have no real consequences for their actions. More and more children are being raised this way. Television writing supports this, and many model their actions on what they see on TV, even subconsciously.

Another facet of this is support structures. As an orphan (lost both parents relatively young) from a small family, I know if I fuck up, I am screwed. No safety nets, nobody's going to lift a finger to save me. Its been that way for most of my life, to the point where I assume that this is more the case than it probably actually is.

Other people have families that will take them in, communities that might help support them, friends and other support structures. Must be nice. I have responsibilities and consequences, and it is a much different world for me.
