Almost every time I discuss bitcoin with someone the only two responses I get are either:

- instant dismissal as it’s a weird internet scammy thing.

Or

- interest, but convinced that the government will ban or shut it down somehow if it ever starts to become something.

No logical explanation I give as to how it is decentralized and can’t be stopped makes any impact
