We're considering a used Berkey, do you all know of any alternatives before I pull the trigger?
They've been out since the FDA ruling...

Those look similar to another brand (can't remember the name) that I looked into a while back. Same big white rounded filters. Almost went with that. I think I tossed a coin and bought Berkey.
What FDA ruling? I have a Big Berkey Stainless still but they sell urns like that for many things. I'm sure you can find stackable urns and just drill two holes for the filters. I had spare filters but it's time to restock. I hope those didn't get pulled.
They got mislabeled imo but haven't been able to sell. We've been waiting to buy one but there's a used one on Facebook marketplace near us

Those are good. I buy my water from a local supplier at a reasonable price, he gets rid of fluoride which I was most concerned about
Havent done a side by side comparison but i like this company https://www.greenfieldwater.com/product/stainless-steel-gravity-feed-system/
Go for it. We love ours, and (as nostr:npub1upajgcycfa5k9l7d2d56dm836g72dj9ula2ltnykzuly3vdjjczs5k8w4a says below) you can get proone filters.
