Another day, another DIY fix!

This button was getting frustratingly non-responsive. Super annoying.

A quick google search and one YouTube video later and we're good to go! Just needed to pop the button off, quick spray w/rubbing alcohol to clean the contacts on that little white nub, wipe it all down. Working great now!

Nice work, way to use your resources. YouTube has taught me to fix many gizmos and machines over the years!

Yeah, in years past there were so many things that I would've assumed were just beyond my abilities. Makes me so happy every time I can learn to do something myself. Even the easy, little things!

absolutely! Fixing is fixing, big or small. It all feels great.

Nice. I drove a Volt for 10 years. Same button failed on mine. I “fixed” it too but my fix wasn’t long term and it failed again. Learned to live without the mode switch as the stealership wanted way too many Sats to replace the whole touch panel to repair it.

I love the Volt. Bought it used and paid it all off a few years ago. Gonna drive this one until it completely falls apart. Zero interest in wasting money on another car!!

I also want to commend your choice of a higher concentration alcohol.

It's best for low-residue on both precision metal parts and electronics.

Well done.

100% (er, 91%, I guess)! I don't see much point in the more diluted mixes.

100% is treated like a damned controlled substance.

Your molarity is great.

Molarity. Dang, haven't heard that word since Soph Honors Chem!
