This is one I found on the road last August... I gently helped it off... It wasn't happy I was messing with it for sure. I love snakes even venomous ones. Just watch where you're walking and you'll be fine. At least these are the least venomous we have. We also have timbers and cottonmouths around though I've never see either.

That's a big one. I don't much care for snakes. I'm luck where I live now, Im at an altitude there are no venomous snakes. However, if I drive about 30 miles there are Prairie Rattlesnakes, right in the areas I like to arrowhead hunt.
