TIL that many British people don’t rinse the soap off their dishes after washing them, and this practice is actually due to a fairy liquid advertisement that promoted their soap as not needing rinsing

This is true. My British brother-in-law and his family don’t rinse the soap off their plates. I found it weird but it was obviously normal for them so I just accepted it. It is weird right?
