I guess everyone is an expert but for anyone interested, That “forklift” articulates, (many don’t) and it was necessary to tilt to miss the top beam whilst placing the head. Also that strap is graded for 8000 lbs. All calculations were made before attempting to set the stone. I will admit this was my first foray with 15th century limestone and I was holding my breath and checking my insurance policy the entire time. The owner was present and very happy with the results.

Also what is the probability of the stone sliding down while the fork is tilted up?

Also I put “forklift” in quotes because its a telehandler midwit.
