-Browser extensions are not 100% secure
-Private keys should never be entered in random websites
-You wouldnt put your Facebook password or a bitcoin private key in a random website. Same security should be done for your nostr private key

Absolutely. Opsec 101.
Caution should also be exercised when trying out different Nostr clients. Once you enter your nsec the app can do anything it wants with it.
