Do you know anyone using purism ? That looks like a very interesting project. Wonder what kind of apps it can run, bitcoin/lightning wallets etc?
How about the e foundation, you said you were incompletely happy with it? What are the bigger problems?

It's very hard to build a completely free phone. I know one of the developers Jonas Smedegaard and he's great, he also works on debian and freedombox
It's hard and expensive to make a free phone, but they are trying. Jonas cant even afford one of the phones.
But I'm very glad that they are trying.
