Im in a nice sweet in-between town as of a few years ago. Ruralish, but not out of the way. Plus no fluoride or traffic cameras so that's keep me put for now. And raw milk within walking distance.

Yea my first 40 years I lived in a dying city that turned ghetto af like 20 yrs ago. Nothing there for me but former bad habits of all sorts. Didnt like it here at first, but the quiet has grown on me

yeah it grows on you - at first you think it'll be boring or nothing to do, but the work is there AND so is the internet.
Was a smaller city but halfway between Philadelphia and New York City so had a lot of transplants. It wasnt bad in the sense of crime ridden so much, just a bleak dead end and not bragging but I rolled with some unsavory characters. Prison for something dumb was ertainly was in my future if I stayed.
