I worked at a McDonalds one summer. Taught me a lot about how the world works. Get introduced real fast to the concept of dependable coworkers and those less dependable, the annoyance of time clocks, high taxes and of course counting drawers and learning the register, interpreting people's orders, making change during power outages, and dealing with power trippy fake tanned cops. Wage was something like 4.75 or 4.85/hour pretax. Favorite part was when I got to do fullfillment for Drive Thru as that gets priority. In hindsight it was one of the best jobs I ever had.
