That’s the impression you get when you initially sign up using Alby and start using Iris or Snort. Instead of being prompted to create a username, you are “expected” to do NIP-05 verification. That’s also not mandatory

Then you have to “sign” events

This whole workflow has to be drastically simplified

Of course, over time I’ve come to madly love #Nostr because your identity is portable

But, still, the workflow has to be more intuitive
