if i recall correctly you can deactivate your primary account and still maintain access to messenger but if you actually fully delete your account you will lose access to messenger

gonna have to look further into it. a lot of acquaintances and contacts iā€™d use if i were to delete it

I waffeld on full deletion for a while. I had the same issue for a bit where there where people that I did not want to lose my connections with and it took a while to sort out how to keep in touch lol.
