Mainly Keonne Rodriguez of Samurai Wallet fame is now in federal prison. Bitcoiners are largely silent, the petition has less than 20,000 signatures. Lots of Bitcoiners seem to becoming Monero curious as a result but that may be my bias clouding judgement.

Bitcoiners, for the most part, care about their bags.

It’s unfortunate.

They'll find their bags dumped when the whole value proposition of p2p decentralized digital cash has been stolen by lawfare and corporate takeover. Alas most don't make that connection with the Samurai Wallet case.

I’m not sure most think much outside of “number go up.”

I think most people don't want to sign petitions because you're adding your name to a list of people they hate and don't want to deal with. There is a great deal of targeting of individuals these days and adding your name to one of these petitions could award you this.

What's interesting is why certain people are allowed to talk about certain things without being targeted..
