We’ve been the “and then they fight you” stage since China banned mining in 2021. The government is losing terribly and they know it. Miners will move to a different state or a different country if need be which they also know. I think we’re closer to the “and then you win” stage than we all think
You maybe don't want to hear it, but a 30% tax on mining in the US is great, however disgracefully immoral it is (even on offgrid!?), since we need states to attack centralized mining before it gets too big. It needs to keep moving and fragmenting. Voskuil is good on this.
