St. Dassie, a Roman soldier, bravely confessed his faith in Christ during the persecutions of Emperor Diocletian. Ordered to offer sacrifice to idols, he refused, declaring himself a Christian. Despite enduring torture, he remained steadfast. Ultimately, he was beheaded for his unwavering devotion to Jesus Christ.
