Just because a fud wants to say revolver real bad, doesnt make it the best gun for home defense.
It truly is the most accurate, easiest weilded, best platform, for anyone to use.
Especially smaller framed women who would have issue with follow up shots(hint youll need them in a real threat situation).
Suggesting a revolver is outright stupid.

I've noticed some ranges in my area feature a ladies shoot free day. Check your area for this. If not just visit one and state that you'd like to evaluate some small arms.
Our son used to have a customer who owned a range and he told our son to come by the shop to shoot for free because our son was waiting tables and going to school.
