Picture part agreed. But store it anywhere other than blockchain please. Even for nostr, pictures are just text links to somewhere else.
But the poetry of inscriptions helps sell the story. You’re talking about onboarding. An image is forever written to the blockchain, validated by nodes around the world. That’s an impressive fact for noob adoption imo

Ordinals are fungible indeed. Inscribed onto Satoshis, validated by nodes.
They can’t be compared to anything we have now on another chain because it’s completely different.
Basically humans have done their human thing and are pushing boundaries / being experimental. This is ok. BTC will be ok.
It gets tricky when we draw comparisons tho 😬
