this is why i have more mutes than follows also... but probably 1/3 of my mutes are moneros
They don't look at the follows feed.
They look at trending, at relay feeds, hashtags, other lists, etc.

You sure about that? I switch to primal on rare occasion to see those trending feeds, and maybe catch something big I missed, but it’s never been worth more than a minute of time before I switch back to notes and replies. I follow a lot of people and still my feed can feel slow at times
