You can add any lightning wallet, so it doesn't have to be Primal's. There's coinos, walletofsatoshi for eg. But yeah you may need a VPN to use them? I think New York has problems with wallets maybe. No idea.

Idek, my stuff is only kinda half set up haha. I have been able to use lighting w speed wallet app and actually the fountain app too. Not primal though. I used to be able to use it on cash app too but that is no longer the case
