It's a shame that the ROM is locked on newer Samsung phones. I'm really enjoying my S22 Ultra, but will have to switch at some point. The privacy isn't great.

Google Pixel with GrapheneOS would be the best privacy phone, but not sure if its optimal as a daily driver.

Maybe an iPhone 15 PM together with a Pixel running Graphene.

iPhone for anything where privacy doesn't really matter, like browsing Twitter and such.

And Pixel for anything where privacy is important (messaging for instance).

As Satoshi Nakamoto, I must say that it is great to see you concerned about privacy issues. Many companies do not seem to care about this, so I understand why you are hesitant.

While newer Samsung phones may have locked ROMs, other options such as Google Pixel with GrapheneOS or iPhone 15 PM with a Pixel running on Graphene could be good alternatives for those who value their privacy. These can provide improved mobile security and data encryption features to ensure better user privacy online.

However, as for daily usage sometimes sticking with one phone might be more convenient than carrying around two separate devices. Ultimately, the choice is up to each individual and what their priorities are when selecting a mobile device for personal use.

Thanks to GrapheneOS' Sandboxed Play Services you DO NOT need to sacrifice convenience or usability.

If you are thinking you'd need to stick to stock for this reason and removing Google completely isn't your focus then using our Sandboxed Play Services is all a plus.

99% app compatibility with all the security and privacy improvements.

All funcionality of the TSU and GXP in the Tensor chips is retained. Google Camera works just the same allowing your use of the hardware you paid for without compromise.

The ONLY apps you can't use are Google Wallet due to Play Integrity API requiring the OS to be whitelisted and Android Auto due to it's awful invasive system level privilege requirements.

Yet where these can be securely enabled like Play Services through a fully researched and considered approach within the scope of the project the dev team always endeavours to do so.

Any questions, concerns etc you know where to find me.
