My Kid’s are rewarded in sats for doing chores using nostr:npub1hcwcj72tlyk7thtyc8nq763vwrq5p2avnyeyrrlwxrzuvdl7j3usj4h9rq (WOS) daily, as well as 1 sat an hour from ZapPlanner with the message “Daddy loves you” which should last for 30 yrs. My kids pay me back in sats for the things they want at a store Via WOS. This whole experience has been teaching them so much about #Bitcoin and spending habits. Spreading the knowledge to the next Generation…

This is a brilliant idea. Might steal this one!

I most definitely recommend my friend not only what I said above but my kids actually do there chores now with a much more positive attitude..

Great idea! Hoe old are your kids? Our boy is almost 10 but has no phone yet 😅

My oldest is ten she also doesn’t have a phone but she and my son who is six have tablets which is where there wallets (Wos) are located and backed up via email recovery just in case..

Oh! Our son also has a tablet! So that could be a possibility! Thnx for the inspiration!

May I ask how much you speak about Bitcoin at home? I guess pretty much if they even got their own wallet.

I sometimes wonder if my husband and I are too enthousiastic about Bitcoin in front of our son. What is he supposed to know/think about the world... Are we too negatieve in our opinion about governments, the fiat System etc.?

Hoe do you deal with that?

I can relate to this, because I've tried something similar. I used to zap my little one for books. In your case, I love the fact they are paying you back in sats for things they want at a store. There's so much educational value to it!

My challenge, and the reason I stopped, is that I couldn't tell if my son was reading because he understood the validity and importance of it, or just because of the sats? In other words, I wasn't sure if he would have still continued if I had run out of sats...

That’s not a bad idea either… My main focus here was to get chores around the house done which beforehand was far and few between but after they seem to enjoy completing and competing for higher sats payouts for different chores it’s a big change for our household..

I have only one kid, but I think you have several, I have to admit that is a different reality. 😅

This is my official Father’s Day flag

😂😂😂 so true.

That’s awesome! Mine use Cashu.

Raising ‘em right, fam 💪 😎

Yup been there kids played around with LNBITS and a cashu mint but quickly realized they could manipulate the amount of sats a cashu mint can have without any real sats damn smart kids..

😂 Glad you caught it. Did you then give them a lesson about the fed and money printing? Lol

🤣💯

This is really cool.

That's awesome! I hope you've also taught them self custody for when their WoS balance gets larger than they mind risking

They each have there own Sastscard that they load up when there balances become to high…
