Is Lume the only desktop app on nostr? (That too can download and install as a non-dev)?

Nostur has a Mac version, and many iPad versions work with the M-series

Damus also works in this way

Nostur is nice. There’s also Gossip. I found a new one called more-speech but not sure if I can run it on Mac, will be testing soon.

Yes but I personally did a direct download from the website though.

You can but you can also install with a package manager. There’s also a .dmg file that can be downloaded.

no, you run it direct by app, and it automatically open a Terminal showing the software's back actions

I wrote more-speech on a MAC, and I'm replying on my MAC right now. So you shouldn't have too much trouble.
