My old Linksys WRT54G finally went out, at least the Wi-Fi part did. I got at least 10 years of DD-WRT use out of it with no problems. I swapped in an Asus that has a a corporate derivative of wrt on it that I got on sale for $40.

Since it's already blessed w/an update webpage, a simple firmware file upload would let me install any pure DD-WRT or openwrt build.
