Replying to Avatar HODL

Currently I’m stuck.

I have a strong belief that Christianity is powerful and that I only want to live in a Christian society while also not believing that it’s literally true.

So far I haven’t been able to rectify this

Why not embrace the Christian ethics you value without believing in God? You can be a virtuous nonbeliever.

…Thomas Jefferson is a good example. He was not a theist and didn’t believe in the story of Jesus — at most he was a deist who believed in a hands-off creator.
